I wanted a meaner sound to the 4runner, so I decided to swap out the exhaust. I decided to go the cheap route, and I bought a Vortex Cherry bomb muffler installed by Meineke after hearing it on Jason B's 4Runner. All of the factory tubing was re-used, except for a small tube going from the muffler to the pipe that is connected to the cat, as seen in the picture. Sounds good and is cheap.
