After bending the running boards on an off-road adventure, I decided to remove them. Then when I was trying to sell my truck, I put them back on.  But of course I had to keep 4wheeling and I forgot I had them on.  Well I bent the one even more.  It is pretty much done for now. I think it looks better and gives the truck a more aggressive appearance. Removal is simple. Just remove all of the bolts that attach the boards to the underside of the truck. There are several large arms that hold the boards to your truck, just remove the side that is connected to the truck. Just use some simple metric sockets or a crescent wrench. If you have a pair of goggles handy, wear them. I wish I would have. I had a bunch of dirt and rust in my hair and eyes. Here are some pictures. The last one is from when I recently bent it, for the 2nd time!
