As I started adding some accessories (CB, GPS, lights, etc.), I wanted to avoid having a spaghetti bowl of additional wiring in the truck. Also, it's a great idea to isolate the accessories from the main vehicle wiring to avoid any potential problems. So I installed the Painless Wiring Weatherproof Cirkit Boss. This auxiliary fuse block provides 7 additional fused power leads (4 ignition hot, 3 constant hot), a relay, and a circuit breaker to power the add-ons while completely protecting my stock system. The breakered lead runs to the battery "+", while another lead runs to an ignition-hot fuse in the factory fuse block. I chose the weatherproof model to mount under the hood (where the ADD VSV's were mounted), and it includes a snug cover and heavily insulated leads. This fuse block provides great security and makes wiring projects a breeze.
