Stuff about me...

I was born in Phoenix, AZ and have remained here ever since with the exception of overseas duty in the service of the greatest country in the world, the USA. My parents were the typical middle class family and I grew up in the late 60's / early 70's in a middle class neighborhood.

I did what most kids do, got in fights, grew up on rock 'n roll and caused general mayhem. The military straightened all that out in short time.

After rotating out, I started studies at Glendale Community College where I also played a little football, transferred to Arizona State and graduated in '89 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.

Somehow after all that, I found a job in the Aerospace industry and eventually (and several jobs later) ended up as a Director of Quality / Engineering Manager with a Triumph Group company. The Triumph Group services airlines around the world with advanced engine repairs and new component support. This is the first time in years that I can truly say that I love my job.

Wheeling... Well, since I was a kid I've always been surrounded by mechanical things. Being a machine shop owners kid I've seen my share of cool cars. Dad always has had a drag car and we are currently building a '63 Fairlane for the NMCA drag series. My preference has always leaned towards 4WD's however and my first car was a CJ7 with a transplanted 327 Chebby, Super T-10 tranny, 4.56 gears and a locker. That thing was cool, I rolled it twice in my learning years. I've since then gone through nine or ten 4WD's and ended up with a '98 Family cruiser street queen 4Runner. Being totally dissatisfied with stock after 4 years of owning it, I started modding. 4X4Wire was the first place I landed and stuck here primarily ever since.

I enjoy hobbies as much as the next guy, including my wife, hunting, fishing, 4 wheeling, remodeling houses, and a list that would just serve to bore the reader, as if that hasn't happened already...

Please enjoy this site if you landed here, as always, any website is a work in progress and since this is a personal one, I tried my best to keep it as simple as possible...
